En el principio era el Verbo, y el Verbo era Dios, y el Verbo era con Dios.

-Casiodoro de la Reina.

I don´t know how I reached this place. I´m not used to the wheelchair, the reason that brings me to be seated is strange, since I can walk as I please. I can rise any time, nobody tells me anything when I go to the bathroom. I should be in the company of my son, far away from this place, maybe at the shore or in my house. I used to have a house. To explain my present state would be difficult. It was not a fall, I have never falled or gotten sick. Really, my health could not be better. It is my age though I cannot remember well the date of my birthday. How it is that my present state started. I used to take care of people like me. I worked in an home for the aged and my son didn´t complained. At first I took care of my own family´s olden people. I got along with them pretty well, I did nothing else.

In the house where I took them along they never said anything. For a youngster, I was not the usual character. I read something in the news, about a woman who got killed inside an aged´s home. It was a lie, the news never say something positive about this country. They said she was an artist. They shot her or got strangled, so they wrote in the newspaper. I wondered how is it possible that they lie so blatantly. She had a name, I wanted to be shure this thing really happened to a lady just like me. I forgot.

Years got around. My son just dissapeared, but I didn´t complained, as he did´nt complained I was so dedicated to the aged. Any day, the nurse just noted I was tired and asked to sit.

-Don´t go to your house- they said. -Just sit down and wait.
